This picture was drawn in so called Gigascreen mode. This is not how it really looks on exact ZX-Spectrum screen. That's probably why you're so amazed.

Very cool picture. Reminds me Tarsem Singh's The Cell starring Jennifer Lopez, similar ornaments were there animated. One of the best art directions ever, very underrated movie.

I very pity a bit, we did not find common language with the diver, though like him and i both a Russian.

Initially I've liked the picture a lot. However, it is way too much of taking of other's ideas way too close to the originals (let leave the few copy-pasted pixels alone). It would be better if you'd take the ideas in a way like 'a witch girl sitting under a tree', not 'the certain witch girl with the certain pose and details of outfit sitting under the certain tree'. It is well performed, anyway.
