Fantastic concept, but could use more detail and definition.

Perfect example of using low detail, loose painting to achieve a great impact!

The colours are very soothing and help me feel what the image is portraying.

I really love the idea, very funny, but it could've been painted a lot better...which is why so many artists use reference - oh the irony .

I have no problem with it. A LOT of current digital artists and matte painters use photos directly in their work now.

I'd say as long as it's not just a paint over of an existing photo and has some creative elements it's cool. Just my opinion.

I assume this is a photomanipulation and i would like to hear if you graphicians think it should be kept or not. I am not sure, because i think the own-work-part is larger here than in others, but on the other hand would not really like to have manipulated photos in a pixelart gallery.

I do like the motive and the colors of thins one. Makes sense in a way.

I never knew this guy contributed to the scene. He's a very big name these days and works with Henning (Bridgeclaw) on ImagineFX.

Incredible work and incredible style! One of my recent favourites.

Astounding! I remember this as one of the first "no copy" pics to show some real decent pixelling quality.

Nothing astounding here, but I found these pics really entertaining in the Megademo.

I've always loved this character and it's really cool to see the concept sketch.

The body and the background are really well done, but the face looks superimposed.

The "S"seems a bit out of place. Rest is cool, me likes!
