Facet's one introduces more color tones, more contrast, it also pleases more.

Looks like a wirejob + bad edit to me. Also looks like Facet had a version of it which missed the right part of it, including bits of her knee. Try overlaying a full version of Vallejo's (including the tail of the fish and tip of the birds wing) and you will see what I mean.
