Pleasant concept I'd say. Odd 3D lighting though, wood material seems particularly reflective.

I have got quite similar experiences about my friend's room with Amiga and TV on the table (just The Prodigy instead Iron Maiden on the walls) and it's even similar with first 3D project which was the room as well 
Renders are excellent for a first 3D, I can feeeel the atmosphere when just the TV lights the closest room space with two focused player's faces

Thanks for the feedback Jack. You know, I had your 1989 room picture as my desktop wallpaper for ages and it really inspired me to give this a try.
