I like surrealist side of this picture

I sense a kind of pure/smooth/peaceful feeling here, simple and not overdone with eye catching effects. Surely appropriate.

Reminds me Veto a lot. Very touching.

Still a bit too rough (whiskers on the right, unnecessary color additions here and there, unnecessary shading on the teeth, color clashes etc). A more clean and finetuned approach would serve this style better.
